The name of my blog incorporates elements of my name and reflects my philosophy about the importance of learning at the same time; it seemed like a natural fit. As you can see, I put a few definitions of the word "null" under my avatar to remind visitors of the meaning in the title of my blog. My posting name is an amalgamation of my real name and the subject (government) that I am most interested in teaching; it too seemed like a natural fit.
Creating the blog was quick and painless. Apparently Blogger and Google are part of the same company (Google, I suppose), so I just logged into Blogger using the name and password from my gmail account. Then, I selected "scribe" for the background because I thought it looked like a historical document, and history is one of my interests. Finally, I tweaked a few privacy settings (I removed my blog from blogger's listings and instructed search engines not to include my blog) and I was done.
My avatar looks more or less like me. It has a hat, needs a shave, wears jeans and boots. Most folks who know me could recognize the similarities. I don't like the eyes, however. My avatar's eyes have a crazy look to them.

I really like how you incorporated your last name into your blog title! Very creative! I also like your avatar. Even though we have only been in class once, I think I could pick you out just by looking at the cartoon version of you!
